Photo Masters Workshops by Bob Gibson announces one and three-day advanced bird photography workshops to be held November through May in Palm Beach County Florida.
Each workshop is limited in size to five students for the ultimate in personalized learning–and are geared for beginning and intermediate DSLR photographers who desire to achieve professional results.

Students will be taught nuances of using telephoto lenses, proper exposure, depth of field and high-speed continuous focus to capture birds feeding and in flight. Each morning session is followed by a hands-on two hour post processing tutorial in Adobe Lightroom. Students process their morning’s images with the goal of creating files for both fine art printing, publishing and online sharing.
This is a partial list of the most photogenic species common to South Florida wetlands we visit. It is very likely that during a three day workshop, you will have a chance to see and photograph most of these wonderful subjects.
That being said, our emphasis in the field is “quality not quantity”. We will be taking our time to learn the best angles, camera settings and compositional ideas when we encounter our subjects. Our goal as a master class is when possible to capture the unforgettable moments of feeding, flying, and nesting.
